We highly suggest a Martingale collar once your pup has learned to walk on a leash. Pei tend to be able to slip out of most collars due to the loose skin. Martingales are a gentle yet effective collar that can also help gently correct negative leash walking habits
Many people prefer harnesses for their Pei. If you choose to go the harness route, we highly recommend a no escape or tactical harness. Shar-Pei have loose skin and can easily escape regular harnesses.
Zymox has been a trusted brand for years. We highly recommend the .5 % hydrocortisone ear solution to prevent ear infections and the 1% to treat infections. We also use the ear wipes and shampoo products on our pups.

We start your puppies on Victor High Pro Plus as a base food. When raising Pei puppies, we try to keep them on an adult food with a protein ratio 30% or lower and a calcium/ phosphorus ratio as close to 1:1 as possible. Victor has proven a great base food for us to prevent excessive growth and minimalize the potential for Carpal Laxity in puppies.
